Chief Executive Officer
Brian started his career designing and maintaining hospital computer systems for labor and delivery departments. In additional to our other niches, HigherGround remains focused on technology solutions for the healthcare industry with a specialty in health and wellness practices such as dental, medical offices and service organizations.
After graduating early from Illinois State University, Brian worked for two years at Discover Financial in security engineering.
Brian has been running the company since 1998, growing it from a single person residential practice to a company with enterprise pedigree consultants offering full stack managed services consulting (CIO down to helpdesk), strategic consulting, and concierge IT (boutique residential IT services).
Chief Technology Officer
Jay leads HigherGround’s Managed Services department, supporting the success of the firm’s clients, partners, and employees. Jay leverages his extensive tech background and experience to develop timely solutions to support both internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to joining HigherGround, Jay managed a top rated school district in the Chicagoland area.
Jay earned his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management at Concordia University, and a Post-Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med at Northwestern University.
Technical Services Manager
Will runs the Operations Department for HigherGround. His passion for technology and automation provide the perfect mix of skills needed to implement and manage HigherGround’s Remote Maintenance Monitoring (RMM) and Services Automation (PSA) systems – both instrumental to our ability to deliver proactive solutions to our clients’ IT needs.
Prior to joining HigherGround in 2012, Will worked on the technology front lines as a Desktop Support Specialist.
Will is a Certified Administrator for both Labtech and Connectwise. He is a member of the Labtech Partner Innovation Network, the Connectwise Visioneer Partner Group, and the Skokie Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of HigherGround, Will advocates for Veterans through his work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Frank is directly responsible for day-to-day operations of the MSP staff, management of Help Desk ticket assignment and routing, scheduling of all onsite repairs, and head of special software installations and upgrades.
Prior to joining HigherGround, Frank has 20 years experience as a Computer Technician and Operator of a Computer Repair Center. Frank is also a member of the West Ridge Community Church – Puppet Ministry.
Frank is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
